How I got Here
I was a musician! I used to topline songs for bands, although somehow, I'd always somehow end up managing them, setting up events for them, photographing them, creating online social campaigns and making sure people in the av sync world knew about them. Without realising, I was being entrepreneurial in the 'unsigned music' world.
After working at a few corporate jobs, I realised that I wanted to understand what I could create if I was to set something up on my own, and ended up in a marketing role at Inkpact.
A Day In My Shoes
All my days are different!
But usually, I spend a lot of time in th eday the phone to people, trying to make sure Charlotte, our CEO, is speaking at the right festivals, pitching to new clients, setting up marketing campaigns.
Overall, I'd say my job is to ensure Inkpact develops an 'unforgettable' brand.
What I Love Most
I love that I constantly face new challenges. That means I'm always figuring out solutions to new issues.
As well as that, I also like getting to see things materialise after creating them from scratch.
The ever-changing teams can be difficult. It's always hard to start from scratch with new people constantly when the staff turnover is so high at the start.
The environment is always rapidly developing which is exciting. The motivational and positive attitude in the office is also great.
